1st day of school

He had a first day of school, he wasnt to sure about it , as we were walking toward his class his steps got smaller and smaller. Its gunna take some adjusting but I think he will have a great year

How Can It Be ???

How Can It Be ??? John and I pulled up into the parking lot of Eastside Elementary the other day to look at class assignments, and it didnt hit me until I was standing there reading the papers on the door and in BIG letters said KINDERGARTEN  and under it was a name Justin Rodney Hurt , wait a minute kindergarten ? how is that possible ? Wasnt it just yesterday February 14, 2006 ?. wasnt it just yesterday that we were standing in the NICU at Memorial West , while they were running every test on him to see if he would ever be able to hear? We got back in the car and I told John 5 years ago when we were in memorial West and they were talking about his ear surgeries in 5 years , we thought we have all the time in the world 5yrs thats a good ways a away , 5 yrs before he starts school. And here we are a day away and my baby boy starts kindergarten. We went to orientation the other night and all I know is that it is a aweful BIG building for such a small little boy boy.

Our Final day :-(

Our last morning we went over to Grand Floridian for breakfast before we headed back on the road. The boys were in dissappointment when they realized they werent going to get to have breakfast with the characters anymore. Now to work on next summers :-)

MGM (Day 6)

Our last day at a park :-( was at MGM , again was a fairly short day 1 because we got caught in a nasty lighting / hail storm and there was more comeing and 2 because we had to pack up all our stuff to leave in the AM.

 I think today was Jax;s favorite part of the trip ,1 because he saw play house disney and Jake and the nevrland pirates and 2 becuase he saw his favorite cowboy Woody, we kept looking for his favorite cowgirl but never saw her.

Magic Kingdom Again (Day 5)

We did Magoc Kingdom twice, you can never have to much. Before we headed to the park we had headed down stairs to wait for Johns Family and Jax got another lay, since we stayed at the Polynesian we were alwayyyys getting them.

 There was no line to see the princes. It was soooo funny cause they were both stuck on this thing about a dragon , and every princess they saw they told her about this dragaon , well when they got to Cinderella they were so in to fighting this dragon it was hard getting a pic of them becuase they were more into talking to her.

There were extra magic hours this night so we had a very late night. We got to see everything and the eletrical parade and there was noone there

Day 4

We had no big plans today, we started our morning having breakfast at Cape Mays, after that we went back to the hotel and waited for Memaw, Aunt Barbara, Amanda and Emily to get there.

 We had nothing really planned , so after sitting around the room for a while we decided we would go rent a boat, minus Memaw she stayed ashore since she didnt trust our captain. It was hot but it was so nice out on the water, especially when John passed the Ferry and the waves threw water up in the front of the boat where we were all sitting.

 Not sure why Memaw didnt trust our Skipper he was only 5 :-)

After our boat ride we went and had lunch at Don Pablos , and spent the rest of the afternoon in the pool, we attempted to go to downtown that was outta of the question, it was a short vist but a nice vist. We also lost a shoe tonight when we got out of Barbara's van it was later recovered the day we checked out 

Epcot (Day 4)

EPCOT was one of our shorter days, it was hot , the boys were on the crabby side. Justin did ride SOARIN for the first time and like always "im not afraind of anything" was funny when ever we went over water he would hold his feet up so they wouldnt get wet ;-)

Magic Kingdom ( Day 3)

I skipped day 2 of our trip thats because we went to Blizzard Beach, and I have not got the water camera pics back yet adn I have got our photopass disk back yet, so we are moving on to day 3 Magic Kingdom.

 We normally get there hair cuts at the Barber Shop on Main St. well this year they didnt need it so we juts let them gettting "pixie dust" AKA Mickey Mouse confetti

 Jax LOVED seeing Peter Pan, the rest of the day in was in search for Captain Hook

After rideing the magic carpets, we took them on Pirates of the Caribean , boy did it give Jsx a new perspective on being a 'pirate" he kept telling John , there shooting at me dad and I dont have my pirate gun :-). Justins slogan about it and the whole trip was " I am not scared of nothing"  

the end of the night we went over to Fantasyland and happened to catch the fire works, the boys loved them but Jax didnt like the noise that came with them. 

Chef Mickeys

Every year we go to Disney we make a must that we eat at Chef Mickeys for dinner, so this year we did it the night we arrived. The boys absolutly LOVED it , they even ate eveything on there plate so Mickey would come see them. They were so into the characters they just talked and talked and talked about them. After dinner we went back to the hotel and went in the pool for a little while , we were going to watch the fireworks from the beach but I was to tired so we called it a early night.

 You cant tell by his face in the above picture, but Jackson was not afraid of him, Donald came up behind him and caught him offf guard.

threw out the whole trip is was so hard to get a "good" picture of both boys , there was just so much going on to look at the camera.

The Happiest Place on Earth !!!!

 I am finally gettin around to putting up a few of the many pics I took at Disney. We had such a great time, the boys were at such a great age where they were really really into it and the characters. We are already talking about our next years trip ;-p
